Incidents, escalations and board-level expectations create sustained pressure.
How do you stay sharp without constantly running on adrenaline?
Cybersecurity leadership coaching
Digital resilience starts with personal resilience.
One-to-one coaching for CISOs, security leads and resilience professionals who want to keep thinking, communicating and deciding clearly when the stakes are highest.
Leadership under pressure
Cybersecurity professionals are trained in risk and technology. Senior leadership demands something different.
Incidents, escalations and board-level expectations create sustained pressure.
How do you stay sharp without constantly running on adrenaline?
During incidents, information is incomplete, experts disagree and the full impact remains uncertain.
How do you remain decisive when certainty is unavailable?
Executives, regulators, suppliers and teams all expect something different. Technical expertise alone is not enough.
How do you retain influence when competing interests, emotions and pressure converge?
Ultimately, digital resilience depends on people who can continue to make sound decisions under pressure.

The approach
No standard programme, but experience from cybersecurity, crisis management, behaviour and communication.
Mental flexibility when pressure and uncertainty increase.
You cannot control every circumstance, but you can control how you respond to uncertainty, pressure and responsibility. Where useful, I apply principles from Acceptance & Commitment Training (ACT) to strengthen mental flexibility, focus and agency.
Thinking and acting clearly when the situation becomes complex.
We examine how you respond as pressure rises, and how to improve your decision-making, communication and recovery. As a certified running therapist, I add expertise in stress regulation and physical recovery: where appropriate, we use Walk & Talk or movement to process adrenaline after incidents.
Being technically right is not the same as bringing people with you.
Executives, experts and teams view risk through different interests. Behavioural profiles such as TMA and DISC reveal motivations and communication styles, enabling you to adapt your communication with intent.
For whom
For leaders responsible for security, risk and digital resilience who recognise that the complexity of their role extends beyond technology.
For experienced specialists and leads with substantial subject-matter responsibility who want to influence, advise and collaborate with stakeholders more effectively.
For key security professionals and high potentials moving into strategic leadership and learning to navigate between technology and the boardroom.
1-op-1 coaching
We do not start with a standard programme, but with your leadership context.
A confidential 15–20 minute conversation to understand your challenge and whether working together is a good fit.
We explore your role, stakeholders, pressure points and the situations in which you want to operate more effectively.
Focused conversations about real situations from your work, using reflection, behavioural models or Walk & Talk where useful.
Each session leads to changed behaviour, better decisions or a sharper perspective in your work.
About
I have worked across government, financial services and critical infrastructure. At de Volksbank, I was responsible for Cyber Defense and worked on digital resilience for organisations including UWV and Drechtsteden. I now lead Information Security Officers and Resilience Specialists within a Digital Resilience Center. I also teach and speak about digital resilience and human behaviour, and share knowledge through the platforms Cyberschaamte.nl, Cybercrisis.nl and Spearphishing.nl.
I have been at the controls during security incidents, complex audits and board-level escalations. You do not need to explain what a critical audit finding or complex security challenge does to you and your organisation. I know the context, so we can focus immediately on what matters: your leadership in that situation.
My approach combines practical crisis-management experience with insights from organisational psychology and leadership development across three levels: mental (ACT), relational (TMA, DISC and behavioural analysis), and physical recovery and stress regulation, drawing on my certification as a running therapist.
